I Counsel and provide psychotherapy to adults, children and families. In addition I provide group therapy, play therapy, bereavement counseling and crisis intervention. I have experience with anxiety, depression, and stress related disorders. I have experience with working with different cultural backgrounds. I facilitate individuals to develop their skills and their ability to use their own resources and those of the community to resolve problems. I run anger management, women’s support and supportive psychotherapy groups. I have good listening skills and help clients feel at ease during the interview. I also provide psychiatric referrals.
Areas of interest are anger management and ADHD. I provide anger management for referral from court mandates, probation, and parole. I help children adjust to school environments and assist with parent-children relationships.
I trained at: Columbia University School of Social Work, (MSW), Post Graduate School of Mental Health – (Certificate of Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy), and Westchester Community College (Certificate in Chemical Dependency).
